What is the difference between a rigid paddle and a flexible paddle?

Rigid paddles are a more traditional style of paddle and one that most people are familiar with. They resemble those made out of wood or hard leather in rigidity but offer the added feature of being non-pourous and nearly indestructible. When using our rigid style of paddle they act like most other non flexible paddles.

Flexible paddles are very different not only in the way they act, but in the way they are used. Think 'rubber' or flexible leather and your close. Our flexible paddles surprise most people by how much easier they are to use and the higher amount of sting they have than the more traditional rigid paddle. Flexible paddles have an increased speed at the tip almost like a whip action. They also, on the longer shaped paddles like a frat, allow the face of the paddle to wrap around the area being hit for a very suprising reaction.

Your Whippygear requires little maintenance and no oils.  Your Gear is dishwater safe, baked in the oven (flat) at 215 degrees, or simply washed with soap and warm water.  Never soak your Gear in any cleaners, oil, or bleach.
